Today we heard from our evangelist in India, Simon Haqq, who recently preached in a city on the Pakistan border.
Simon writes:
We conducted three days of evangelistic meetings in Ferozepur, Punjab. A young pastor Mona Teji had a deep burden for his village to hear the gospel. He wanted Christians in that village to be revived and attend their respective churches regularly.
The churches had very low attendance and pastors had no relationship with each other. During these three days of revival meetings 26 pastors came together and rededicated their lives for the common purpose of building the Kingdom of God. After the meeting all the pastors met with each other and resolved their differences and committed to meet once a month for prayer.
There were close to 150 backslidden believers who came back to Jesus. This resulted in a growth in church attendance. On the last day over 50 non-Christians gave their lives to Jesus. Many were healed from their infirmities. I remember a lady with an issue of blood for four years was healed instantly. Please pray for the new believers and also for the believers who rededicated their lives to Christ.
With Love & Prayers,
Simon Haqq
